059 Cross Country Challenge at Farmor's School, 4 March 2009

Our Cross Country team at Farmor's School with teacher, Mr Meggs.   We are proud to announce that our children won Y3 girls champion and Y3 girls runner up champion, Y4 girls champion, Y5 girls runner up champion and Y6 boys 5th place overall.  Two of our children have also been selected to run for the South Cotswold Team.

052 Carols by Candlelight at Rodmarton Village Hall

The carols evening was lovely. The children sang beautifully, the donkey behaved himself and the shepherds didn't fall off the veranda!  Thanks to everyone for coming.  I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Class 1 hosted a Teddy Bears' Picnic for all the classes which was a huge success.  Everyone enjoyed teddy bear songs and lots of yummy food, much of which was prepared by the children in Class 1.

043 Arts Week 2008

The highlight of our Arts Week 2008 was a visit from the ever popular Thomas Trilby with his Circus Skills Workshop.  The children took part in activities such as juggling, diabolos, unicycle, plate spinning etc.

We had a visit from the Life Education Centre in January. As always an enjoyable and informative experience for all the children. Each class enjoyed a different educational topic.

021 A Visit from Father Christmas

Father Christmas visits the school to hand out presents to all the children.  This is a non-uniform day as it is also the day of our Christmas Party. (click on the photo to enlarge)


020 Brass Tuition

All of our Key Stage 2 children were able to have a taster session of 10 brass lessons again this year.  We are very lucky to have the use of the village hall (right next door to our school) which we use for assemblies, drama productions, P.E. etc. (click on the photo to enlarge)

We were visited by the Rock and Fossil Roadshow. Each class visited the village hall where tables were laid out.
