Just checked out the pictures on the site, memories of my school days in the late 70's and the early 80's came flooding back. We used to love the snow and ice, we made skid runs along the length of the playground. Always got told off for it though. :-) then we used to go in and sit near the huge radiators to dry out and warm up. We used to long for the summer so we could play in the field and sit in the shade by the trees, the only place that had shade in the whole school. Those were the days! not a care in the world. Anyway enough with the memories, site looks great and school looks good.

Hii everybody. | |
| Mrs Burr | 17 July 2008 09:23:37 |
I was looking at this lovely website and reading some of the 'old pupil' comments. Fantastic to hear how well some of you are doing including Peter Holmes and Jack Fulford. Lovely to hear from Jasper down under in Australia, ''hello Jasper hope the family is well'', and the 'Hinton' family in New Zealand( where my sister-in-law now lives! ) I now have two children, a boy and a 6mth old girl. I still hear about many of you from Mrs Anderson. I wish everyone at Rodmarton a lovely summer holiday.

Hello everyone at Rodmarton School. Well done on raising so much money at your Fete this year. As a past member of the Friends of Rodmarton school let me add how important and rewarding it is to get involved. I would urge any parents to have a go. Tom and Anna were watching a DVD of the 2001 Rodmarton School Sports Day only this week and it brought back lots of memories. They are enjoying their new schools here in New Zealand but they haven't forgotten their old friends. I know it is nearly the end of term so I hope you all have a good holiday.

Also curious to see what the school looks like now - still recognisable after 24 years! I hope all pupils will have a fond memory of their time there. The website is lovely. When I left the school had just started using a Sinclair Spectrum. Congratulations and good luck with all the projects. Keep up the good work.

Hi Rodmarton!!! Cool site!! Hope you are well! Stroud High is alright, it's been so long since I got in touch! HOW much do I miss your work! We have our year 9 SATS coming up and it's so hard! We have so much revision and work, so if I were you, I'd make the most of not having lots to do while you still can! It's great fun though. (not the work-'cause that would be weird) I have to go to DT now - making clocks, yippee-do. I miss you all very much - and I hope to see some of you at the high school next september!! lots of love and hugs xxx Abby xxx

What a fantastic site! Well done on winning your award. I know how much time is spent creating and updating. Our school site is still in its infancy, but I may just have to poach some of your ideas! I really like the link to photos of your surroundings, and the huge amount of pictures. Fantastic! Well done.

Hello Rodmarton, hope you are all well, it is almost 2 years since I left school. I am really enjoying secondary school - lots of sport and cross-country. In an all schools race I came 15th and at school I came 1st and 2nd. bye James Curthoys

| Matthew Morris | 21 December 2005 00:00:00 |
This is a great web site and reflects the excellence of the school generally. One small suggestion: why not list the term dates for the following school year? That was the reason I came to the site in the first place as I was trying to make some holiday plans and needed to know when my kids would or would not be at school.
