First Admissions

Gloucestershire LEA has responsibility for admissions, but in effect this is handled initially through the school.  Forms are available from the school office for parents wishing to register their child for admission.

Rodmarton School has a legal Standard Admission Number of 11.

Parental preference will be granted provided a place is available in the school.

If the number of requests is more than the number of places available, priority will be given to children wishing to join older brothers and sisters already attending the school.  Any remaining places will be filled by children having the strongest geographical claim.  Parents have a legal right to appeal to an independent Appeal Panel against any decision made by the LEA.

Later Admissions

Later admissions can only take place if:

1.    There is a vacancy in the year group the child will be joining and
2.    It will not hinder the education of those already in the school.
