Sport

In this school we believe that Physical Education plays an important part in the physical development and well being of the whole child.  The lessons cover a variety of activities from gymnastics, games, athletics, and creative dance. 

During the Autumn and Spring terms children in Year 2 to 6 have weekly swimming lessons at Cirencester Leisure Centre. 

We have an adventure playground at the rear of the school and a hard surface area marked out for a variety of games and activities, large gymnastic apparatus which is used in the village hall next door to the school, and a playing field. 

Inter-school events are also organised.  Sometimes these are competitive and sometimes teams from different schools are mixed for fun events.

We must now be one of the best equipped school for sport in Gloucester, having had a major restock of our sports cupboard thanks to a generous donation from the Friends.
